Red Gored Skirt

This is a dark red jacquard, ankle length yoked skirt, made with 4 panels. All I need to do is put fasteners (probably buttons) at the side openings and hem it.

so, since no-one else is reading this anyway, I'm going to use it to keep track of some scattered project ideas. I'll start off with a list of things I'm contemplating, then I can go into each one in detail as later posts.

Sewing:

now, with a list to refer to, I have no excuse for not getting it all done, right?

As I suggested to myself in a previous post, a digital camera seems to be essential for keeping any sort of decent blog. So we got one that we're happy with all 'round, still reading the manual for what the different settings really mean. And of course, if one's camera has a macro/close-up setting, one must use it to take arty close-ups, no?
